This is obviously Bruce and Hilary Carter’s little boy, Reynolds. We just barely beat the rain this morning for our 8AM shoot! I just got done editing all his 6 month images, and can anyone tell me which of his parents he looks like? lol

I thought this one was interesting, just one of those accidents form shooting that I end up liking.
A couple friends of mine told me how wonderful Amy was before she called me to book a wedding package. I am not taking weddings anymore except for friends and such (like this weekend congrats Chris Payne!) Anyways Amy is a bride after my own heart: focused on the marriage instead of the wedding! Thanks Amy for giving your marriage a great start by investing in the relationship instead of the day. I am honored to be a part of your celebration!

I met the Riley family out at Lincoln Parish Park this last weekend to do their Christmas photo session. I like a girl who plans in advance, and Jennifer is that girl! Jennifer is one of the super moms who runs the Kool Kids Consignment Sale in Ruston each spring and fall and so graciously rents me booth space there! Many of us who clothe our children in name brand clothing at awesome prizes have a lot of thanks for this woman and her sister Jill.
Anyways, here are the Riley children, Leyton, Carson and Ainsley. (You may recognize their sweet faces from the pumpkin patch too. I got to photograph them twice in one week!)

The return of summer weather in Ruston this week was very discouraging. I love fall and it was sad to see it arrive just to tease us and then return to 90 degree, humid weather again. As a photographer who spends a lot of time outdoors shooting, I could use more cool weather. To take my mind of hating the heat, we embarrassed and took Autumn out for some pictures. She’s my little doll, I thought I wouldn’t be this way, but sometimes I can’t help it!
Notice the last one here, Autumn is walking but it’s more of a dance than a walk. We dance a lot in our house. 🙂
I have had two people drive up here from the Alexandria/Pineville are in the last few months for shoots, and it was so exciting. Right now there is someone who has booked a newborn shoot this coming Tuesday and I am driving down there for it. If anyone else is any the area and wants to book a session and save on the travel fee, let me know asap!
