I had the best time this weekend getting to know Molly and Paxton (Not to be confused with Paxton, our cousins, whose newborns have appeared here:). They were visiting from Seattle and wanted me to take some pictures and of course I couldn’t refuse! Molly is a midwife so we instantly had something to talk about (you know I could talk all day about birth:). Thank you to the grandmother, Mrs. Danni for calling me up and inviting me into your absolutely gorgeous home! I hope we meet again soon!
This morning I held my first camera class for moms. and I couldn’t have had a better group of ladies attend! We met for close to 4 hours at the Creative Journey Studio down the road from my house and discussed how to take better pictures of your children by taking your camera off its automatic mode. Everyone did so well catching on and I had the best time teaching. I look forward to seeing the pictures you are going to take ladies! Thanks for coming to my class and being willing to learn!
Many of you have asked about my next class, and I will be announcing my next class tomorrow to the public. Sign up is on a first come first serve basis to the first 6 ladies to request and pay for a spot. Some spots have already been taken by those who did not get into the last class.
The other day I saw one of the first Spider Lilies begin blooming. Spier Lilies and Dog Wood Blooms are my favorite flowers and I am always sad I only get to enjoy them for a short time each year. This year when I saw the Spider Lilies is reminded me of this time last tear when I was very pregnant with Autumn. Autumn is doing her favorite thing: pointing. She does this when you get onto her, when she wants something and when she is playing. It’s so sassy!
This morning I got to meet Landon for his newborn pictures. Landon was born last week to a very special labor and delivery nurse that works at our hospital. After helping lots of other ladies give birth, she finally did it herself, and I must say, she did I great job. Landon is precious and healthy and everything you could ask for in a little boy.
Yesterday Courtney turned 5 years old and I got to take her first custom portraits for her birthday! Her birthday was complete with lots of pink, cake, balloons, dresses and presents, just like a little girls birthday should be. Happy Birthday Courtney.
