Lauren- All dolled up!

This evening was Lauren’s newborn session. You may remember here from her birth a few weeks ago. I’m not usually a big prop kind of girl, but Lauren’s mom brought everything a little girl’s dress-up trunk could ever want! From bonnets to bows, wings to hand made quilts, she had the works! Needless to say I did some out of the ordinary shots for me and here they are!

Basket: gift from my wonderful husband who thought about how much I love baskets even while he was in Africa! And fringie blanket full of lovely fibers and hand spun yarn by Rachel Johnston!

Yes! she has her own angel wings!

I finally got to shoot Bennett’s newborns today! He gave me a hard time but he made greatimages none the less! Thanks Jenn for the extra light and lens today! I owe you!

Maryanne Maternity

Maryanne and Brian took my last childbirth class series and today it was time for their maternity pictures! Maryanne, thanks for being easy going and fun to shoot! Here are a few form this evening!

This is Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt with Maryanne in the garden. Maryanne has hens, she’s just awesome like that.

Any girl who can get in a bikini while pregnant (or at all for that matter) is deserving of my envy. 🙂

Josiah 22 Months

So since Autumn has been around and smiling I am noticing less and less great pictures of Josiah for a number of reasons. #1 He sees my camera and makes sure to avoid eye contact with it. #2 Autumn lunges for the camera, smiles and loves it. #3 I am just trying to document everything and don’t get a lot of alone time iwth him to just concentrate on getting good “portraits” of him. #4 He hates to be made to stop what he’s doing to look at the camera and stay still for even a moment.

SO I have lots of picture of him, but I have just been craving some better portrait type stuff. During Autumn’s nap we went outside right after the rain to snap a few before the heat and bugs became unbearable again.

Reynolds 3 Months

Today was exciting for me because it was time already for Reynolds 3 month pictures and boy had he grown! I caught him without a nap do he was barely holding on, but here are some cute ones from today, look forward for more later on!

He went cross eyed, looking at the camera, it was really cute.
