April Camera Class in Ashland

I have gotten so many requests for a camera class since Christmas, so by popular demand I will be holding a camera class on Saturday, April 13th from 10am to 2pm in Ashland.

Many of you have nice digital SLR cameras and are using them exclusively on auto mode, just like a old point and shoot. I know how hard it can be to learn how to use a camera for the first time on your own, which is why I am teaching this class! Now you can take a workshop where you are one of a small group of other moms (or dads or grandparents) learning the photography basics to help you get the most from your camera and capture everyday moments. The four hour class covers class instruction time as well as practical application with your camera

Find out how to manually set your camera to get just what you want to take great pictures of your family everyday! Also get advice on what lenses to put on your  wish list!

This is a four hour workshop limited to 6 participants. Bring your camera and your questions.

Outline

* The 10 Keys to taking great pictures of your children
* Introduction to Exposure
* Shutter Speed
* Aperture
*ISO
* Lens Overview
* What do the numbers mean on my lens?
* Options for sharing and printing

Cost: $115 per person, which includes a light lunch and digital notes from the class.

Class size is limited to 6 participants to allow a more personalized class and plenty of time for questions so sign up now! Sign up by using the Paypal link below or email me to send a check or pay cash. You will need a camera with full manual controls for aperture, shutter speed and ISO. A DSLR is preferred which also has detachable lenses. Email me if you have questions.

Nursing babes are welcome to attend this class with their mothers, and shared childcare may be available as well. Email me (crystal@crystalgarcia.com) for info.
