Here are a few more from my time in the Alexandria area the other day. Sweet boys.
I have been getting a lot of calls from this area recently and I am so excited to be working with so many of you! Thank you for giving me a reason to travel south of Ruston a bit more for photography!
Call me crazy but I LOVE family pictures. The craziness of multiple ages, genders and generations and the things we do to try and get the right shot are so funny. At the end of a family session, I get that feeling like I do after a good work out, satisfied and energized! More to come form this session!
This post is a little delayed. I went to the Alexandria area on Tuesday for two sessions and broke down, after hours in the rain coming home. I finally made it back thanks to a very sweet guy at an Auto Zone who works on my car until almost 9pm! Anyways it put me a little behind my usually blogging schedule since I had shoots the next day.
So, here is William Pierce at two weeks old. It was nice to shoot a newborn again, it had been a couple weeks and I was missing it! We had a great session, well worth the drive to Boyce, Louisiana. Thanks Hayley for a fun day, can’t wait until 3 months!
On Saturday Brian and I shot (he video and me photography) a wedding for a very special person, Chris Payne and his bride-to-be Melinda. Chris is one of those guys that you love from the first time you meet him. He is kind, honest, genuine and holds nothing back. He is also a fire fighter which just shows how sacrificial he is all around, and why he is going to make a great husband. As soon as we found out about Chris’ engagement we new we wanted to be a part of his special day and it was nothing short of what I expected from him and a woman he would be in love with!
Melinda was a wonderful bride, sweet and relaxed even on her wedding day. Everyone was so happy for them and you could tell they had so much support from real friends and family in their lives that they have real relationships with. Anyways, here are a few pictures from this weekend. I was so blessed to be a part of it all. Congratulations Chris and Melinda, you are going to do great things together.

This is actually from the rehearsal dinner. These guys play in a band called John Henry’s Hammer, and I knew most of them in high school. Fun times.
I lovr these two. This is Chris’ parents. His dad has fixed both Brian and I’s cars on more than one occasion.

Happy Couple
John O’Leary was Brian and I’s youth pastor when Brian and I met, became friends and fell in love. He and his wife Ashley have been in our lives for a long time and now we all have kids, so weird! Anyways, John brought the kids into town and I got to do their pictures at the pumpkin patch. Since they live in Cabot, Arkansas now, I let them schedule whatever time was good for them. I love these kids!
