Today was Brayden’s second birthday and what a blast it was! I love shooting kids’ birthday parties, I am actually thinking of adding them to my pricing page! Check out his LSU Tiger themed pool party and super cute cupcakes from Ruston’s new cake shop inside the House of Flowers.
You might remember this sweet face from his last session with the frog on his head. Rowdy is very special to me because his mom is one of my very best friends. She is one of those friends that you hope to find in your life that is loyal, and you can share things with her when they are at their worst. The other thing I love about Rowdy is that he has alwasy been one of the happiest little boys I have ever known and he has the BIGGEST smile ever. What a joy of a little boy to be around.
I hope you all enjoy these images of Rowdy. I know I have shot s few bath shots recently, but everyone is loving them, and the fact is, it is hot in Louisiana summer and there isn’t anything particularly fun or interesting growing right now. Plus is there anything cuter than a baby splashing in a bubbly tub?

It ended on a clean note again.
This morning I was out bright and early to shoot. I am always up bright and early, since I have young children, but usually not out. Isn’t it funny how when you have children you get up earlier but you stay in your pajamas longer? Or is that just me?
Anyway, today was a beautiful day, and Cooper was a great little man to start the day with. I had way too many favorites, I had to force myself down to just seven for the blog, at my husband’s instruction. 🙂
All that naked-playing outside called for a bath at the end.
Tonight marked the first nigh (pre-sale) for the annual Kool Kids Consignment Sale in Ruston. This event is CRAZY awesome. So many books, toys, clothes, furniture and gear for babies and children at great prices. This is my third time with a booth at the sale, but my first to have one all for my photography (I used to share one with my Bradley classes). I registered for the sale a couple months ago and began planning my booth right away. I wanted mine to really stand out, but also didn’t have much money to spend, so with a little creativety and DIY-ness I made a proud I was really proud of. Here it is!

This is a a 20X30 inch gallery wrap I had made for the booth. This is baby Bennett, doesn’t he look handsome? I would love to know what you all think of the booth, if you have any suggestions, I am already thinking about my next one in the spring.
Last night my friend Jamie launched her new Etsy store! If you are not familiar with Etsy, it is a site where people sell their handmade items (and caution, it’s addicting!). Anyway Jamie has been sewing and crafting since I have known her and I am so proud of her for getting her store with with her two boys and being pregnant! I have bags made by her, a bib, a brag book, and a photo prop, ans I love them all!
Here are some of her items modeled by my sweet Autumn and her little cutie Harris. Look closely at her wallet sized fabric brag books at the bottom, they are so cute! I get so many compliments on mine (which is currently being used as a business card holder!).
